intrapreneurs came to the campuses of Berlin,
London and Paris to challenge the students
with concrete and complex operational issues to
solve. For example, Afb Arbeit, a successful Berlin
based enterprise that has a strong social and
environmental impact (they recycle IT hardware
and 50% their workforce is composed of people
with disabilities) challenged the students to find a
new service that would increase the wellbeing of
the employees of their client companies. During 4
hours, 3 teams of 10 students worked together to
develop creatives ideas and find concrete, easy to
implement and innovative solutions. These workshops were facilitated by volunteer students trained by SenseSchool with a solution, innovation,
fun-oriented methodology and were followed by a
pitch session in front of a jury. And guess what?
The CSR and Innovation officer of Afb Arbeit is
now implementing two of the three solutions within the company designed by the students. The
other entrepreneurs were all very enthusiastic
about their solutions and are thinking of ways to
put them into action. Real work, real innovation,
real impact.
On the other side, the students who participated
to the Innovation Game discovered new practical,
creative tools and methods to get into an innovative thinking process. The different campuses of
the school were united around a same challenge:
designing the most innovative, sustainable and
implementable solution to grow the impact of
the projects they worked on. The final round was
held in Paris with a jury composed of Edouard
HUSSON and Pascal MORAND (former deans
of the school) and Chantal JOUANNO (the
Godmother of the Seminar and former Minister for
Ecology, now highly involved in ecological innovation with the think-tank she founded called Ecolo
Ethik). «Awesome initiative of team work around
sustainable innovation. It feels good!» she twitted
in French after attending the presentation of the
teams from the different campus in Paris. The win-

ning team designed a very simple and innovative
system to gamify the Lemon Tri machines that sort
drink packaging (bottles, cans, tumblers) so that
recycling becomes a playful and automatic action
for anyone! «I was surprised by the result, I did not
expect that our solution would be so innovative.
Thanks a lot for giving us this unique opportunity
to learn and experiment innovation, that will be very
useful for my professional life!», said Ekaterina the
Russian facilitator student of the Lemon Tri team.
