Event Embry Celebrates he leading Chinese lingerie brand Embryform is 35 years old. To celebrate this very special anniversary, a tour called “Embry Show Time” swept the large Chinese cities off their feet, including ShenZhen, GuangZhou and Beijing, in May and August 2010. Embry Group CEO Liza Cheng explained that the show was inspired by Broadway shows, “our fashion show is intended not only to introduce the latest international lingerie trends but also a different Embry spirit, of vitality and novelty.” In a carefully thought out theatrical setting, each Embry brand was associated with a different Broadway classic. The plays, ranging from The Sound of Music, West Side Story and Cabaret, inspired the fashion shows where the latest Embryform, Fandecie, Comfit and Liza Cheng collections were presented. To complete the American entertainment theme of the anniversary event, the stage was decorated with large posters illustrating the 35-year history of the Embry Group, as an allusion to classic Hollywood film posters, yet another tribute to show the Chinese lingerie’s integration to other cultures.
