SONIA RYKIEL To start the holiday season off on the right foot, and to present the international launching of its lingerie collections for the brand H&M, Sonia Rykiel offered a spectacular event on December 1st, that will not be forgotten anytime soon. A Parisian soirée, très chic, that reflected the lingerie collection’s image. T hat night, the Grand Palais in Paris became the stuff that dreams are made of- representing an imaginary Paris- for a majestic fashion show . Jean-Paul Gaultier, Ellen Von Unhert, Nadja Auerman, Kate Bosworth, Eva Herzigova, Emmanuelle Beart and many other top models, fashion designers, and celebrities gathered to witness this semester’s greatest fashion party . T wo thousand guests sat under an Eiffel T ower of lights where the show and décor created a true Parisian fairytale. The models paraded to present the lingerie collections in a very theatrical setting that turned into an enchanted forest, a carnival, the Arc de T riomphe or the Paris Left Bank! “Everything was set up to show the grandeur of the city of Paris and the Sonia Rykiel fashion house,” said Sonia Rykiel CEO and Artistic Director Natalie Rykiel. “W e wanted to offer our guests an unforgettable evening that would take them to an imaginary land while presenting our collection.” That’s how the new Sonia Rykiel presented its new lingerie collection that arrived in 1,500 H&M stores th around the world on December 5 . The knit collection will follow the lingerie one and will arrive on February 20th, to be available in only 200 H&M stores.
