T he color of
« scrapfeelings » !
Summer finally came with its colors
and what would be our scrappesque
life without color! It is color which
transcribes our vision of the instant
caught in a snapshot. It defines the
pictures, illustrates the texts. With its
differences and nuances, it permeates
our feelings in our creations.
And as color is one of the most striking
elements in a photograph, it is one too
for a scrapbook page. Thus it happens
that we are drawn to a specific color for
some time before taking an interest in
another one...The colors we like reflect
our present state of mind, how we feel.
Taken from Life

Every year, living next to the beach, we take advantage of
the sea from the first fine days, and it is always great fun
for the kids who are rediscovering the joys of swimming
and building sandcastles. This photo of my son Lucien was
«taken from life» and expresses so well the joy he feels at
finding the simple pleasures of summer again!
»
This very graphic page is built around a clever blend of
papers, die-cuts, chipboards that converge in and around
the photograph to show it off. The very bright colors remind
us of beach games and provide a vibrant side to the whole.
So do not hesitate to express yourself
in color, to play the fashion designer
dressing your layouts with sparkling
colors. And do not forget the Latin
proverb: «There is no accounting for
taste». Thus, make your own rainbow
of colors and become the artist of the
feelings of your scrappesque life by
helping yourself with your current issue
of Histoires de Pages, radiant with items
just as bright as each other, to capture
your summer memories and above all
prepare to welcome in the Fall in color.
