The Event Management School is a two-year educational
experience for entry to director level staff looking to
gain the skills and tools required to execute successful
and sustainable events. Presented in Partnership with
The National Training Center at Oglebay and The
International Festivals and Events Association.

Maintenance Management School
January 28-February 3, 2012
The Maintenance Management School is a two-year
professional development program tailored to the
needs of park, recreation, and conservation personnel
managing maintenance programs. Presented in
Partnership with The National Training Center
at Oglebay and North Carolina State University.

national School of rV park and Campground
Management
February 21-26, 2012

The Directors School is a dynamic two-year
educational experience that focuses on providing new
and upcoming park and recreation directors with the
required skills sets and knowledge base to successfully
lead and manage park and recreation agencies.
Presented in Partnership with The National Training
Center at Oglebay and North Carolina State University.

Municipal Golf Institute
September 4-6, 2012
This highly interactive education experience is
designed to help municipal golf operators and
administrators address the challenges facing
municipal golf today. Presented in Partnership with
The National Training Center at Oglebay and the
National Golf Foundation.

September 23-27, 2012

The iAIM School offers comprehensive training and
certification in ice arena management. The goal of
the iAIM School is to make graduates more valuable
to their facility, through heightened service, increased
productivity and lower operating costs. Presented
in Partnership with The National Training Center
at Oglebay and the Ice Skating Institute.

The National School of RV Park and Campground
Management is a two-year program to equip
prospective and current owners and managers with
the tools needed to develop a thriving campground
business. Presented in Partnership with The National
Training Center at Oglebay and National Association
of RV Parks, and Campgrounds.

nrpa Green School
February 26-March 2, 2012
This two-year training program is designed to
educate park and recreation professionals to be
environmentally responsible in their operations,
teach the community environmental stewardship,
and position themselves as green advocates.
Presented in Partnership with NTC at Oglebay,
Oglebay Institute and NCSU.

revenue Development and Management School
March 11-16, 2012
The Revenue Development and Management School
is the most comprehensive and unique professional
development program focusing on proven revenue
management and development techniques. Presented
in Partnership with The National Training Center
at Oglebay and North Carolina State University.

Legislative Forum on parks and recreation
March 27-29, 2012
As the leading advocacy event for the year, the
National Legislative Forum on Parks and Recreation
provides a unique opportunity to inform our nation's
leaders about the essential services provided by park
and recreation agencies within local communities.
As the administration and Congress address everything
from energy and climate change to the economy,
this is our chance to advance our legislative agenda.
