Committed to putting clients at
the center of everything we do
I've been on Dewberry's Board of Directors for 15 years and before that
my professional career included president and CEO of Planning Research
Corporation (PRC), which was an 8,000-person technology and engineering
firm. At one point, we competed with Dewberry from time-to-time. So I knew
and admired the company before I came to serve on the board. I've watched it
accomplish what a lot of firms struggle with-to hold onto clients, grow with
them, and go where the clients need the work done.
Working with federal agencies, like FEMA, is a good example of this. Disasters
like the catastrophic flooding described in this issue of Dimensions happen
all over the country. Dewberry has been able to mobilize immediately and
help clients work on these problems. I also think that Dewberry's leadership
has promoted and hired excellent staff to manage the firm's work. I've had the
privilege to listen to project presentations and have always been impressed by
how they understand their clients and are able to express in detail what the
client was thinking. Dewberry is fortunate to have such exceptional clients
and people.
