ISTAT Jetrader - Autumn 2021 - 3

Development Program (PDP) through our inaugural Dublin course, which started
virtually in April and continued in June. A third set of classes will be provided
virtually in September, and the enrollees (27 in total) will be invited to ISTAT EMEA
in Edinburgh, Scotland, for graduation. A course for Americas is due to commence in
person in September and will culminate with a graduation at ISTAT Americas in San
Diego in March 2022. There are currently 35 professionals enrolled for this course.
Special thanks to PWC, which provides tremendous support to the ISTAT PDP
effort, as well as Airbus and Boeing, both of which agreed to host segments at their
respective facilities in Toulouse, France, and Seattle, Washington.
Our aim remains to host a good number of in-person conferences in the coming
months. ISTAT EMEA will be held in Edinburgh on 3-5 October. And while it's proved
difficult to gather with our typical format for ISTAT Asia, we are pleased to be
offering a one-day networking event with golf at the end of October. Our conference
schedule for 2021 culminates at ISTAT Americas in Austin, Texas, on 14-16
November. And the year finishes with ISTAT's annual holiday receptions in Dublin,
London, New York and Tokyo, which will all be held on 1 December. Please look for
updates on each of these events on the ISTAT website. As always, the health and
safety of our members is of paramount importance, so we will continue to monitor
health and safety protocols and travel
restrictions to ensure compliance.
This has been and continues to be
a challenging year for our organization
and our members, but our volunteer
board has continued to work tirelessly
to maintain ISTAT's place as the
preeminent industry association.
