to reduce greenhouse gas emissions also need to consider the interdependencies
potentially impacting noise around airports.
Observing technology development leaders in aviation inspired to pursue
so many different opportunities should be energizing and hopeful to the ISTAT
community. I have seen a gradual increase in attention thanks to many creative
individuals and forward-looking companies. The goal of net zero by 2050 is being
adopted by a growing number of stakeholders and, from ISTAT's perspective, how
these developments will impact financial stakeholders should be front and center.
ISTAT's goal is to become a key industry resource on sustainability by
providing forums for information, discussion and debate relevant to ISTAT
members. Therefore, it makes sense to include the topic of sustainability both
during our regional conferences, as well as a dedicated session alongside
the London and Paris air shows. We have the platform to bring together key
stakeholders and influence the direction, which is ultimately critical to the entire
financial ecosystem of aviation.
