Mahajan is one of many examples
of individuals supported by the
Foundation who have since joined
the aviation finance sector. ISTAT
Foundation Scholarship recipients also
make meaningful contributions in other
areas within the aviation industry. For
example, Philip Mafunga is currently a
safety management systems engineer
at Boeing after receiving support from
the Foundation in 2008 while studying
at the University of Central Missouri.

Mafunga said.
Impacts from the Foundation
Scholarship Program touch all corners
of the globe, with past scholarship
recipients residing in over 35
countries. Ainur Maiussova received
a scholarship in 2018 and completed
ISTAT U while studying at Toulouse
Business School in France. Maiussova
has worked in leadership roles at Air
Astana, Qazaq Air and FlyArystan in
Kazakhstan. Now, her latest endeavors
have taken Maiussova to Germany. " I
