ISTAT Jetrader - Spring 2022 - 3

Latin America Forum this year in Panama City. There is no shortage of uncertainty
surrounding these events but, as always, the ISTAT Board and staff will continue to
monitor the situation and make adjustments to our schedule as necessary.
Certainly one of the highlights of the year, as announced at our Americas
conference, was the election of my successor as board president. Mary Prettyman
of Pratt & Whitney is slated to take office in March 2023. Mary was first elected
to our board in 2013 and has served in a variety of roles during her tenure, most
recently as vice president of ISTAT. I am thrilled to have Mary succeed me, and her
elevation will be most notable, as she will become the first female president of our
organization. Mary will be joined on the Executive Committee by Marilyn Gan of VMO
Aircraft Leasing as vice president, Gerry Laderman of United Airlines as treasurer
and Peter Blakeney of Arena Aviation as secretary, as well as myself as immediate
past president. I look forward to working with Mary and the rest of the Executive
Committee to continue ISTAT's proud mission.
