* The third annual Dublin
golf tournament hosted on
15 September 2022 raised
US$33,000.
* The annual Jetran golf
tournament hosted on

these programs, the newly formed
Development Committee has convened
and conceptualized a new platform for
donations on an individualized basis to
best meet the corporate initiatives of
the donor company.
The new Global Sponsorship Program seeks
donations from ISTAT member companies in levels of
US$10,000, US$25,000, US$50,000 and US$100,000.
October 7, 2022 benefited
from the generous donation of
US$100,000 from Jetran and
the Jaffe family.

Each of the ISTAT Foundation giving
committees receives a significant
amount of applicants for limited funds
available to disburse, meaning that
there are always organizations and
individuals that the ISTAT Foundation
is not able to support. While the ISTAT
Foundation is extremely grateful
for the continued partnership and
grants from ISTAT, it must always
seek supplemental funding to sustain
its efforts, particularly during these
challenging economic conditions.
ISTAT member companies may
recall previous fundraising initiatives
grateful to the generous support of all
of its golf sponsors and is proud to have
hosted such successful fundraising
events to benefit its giving programs.
Each of the mentioned golf events is
hosted around the same time each year
at each respective location, so if you
have not yet had a chance to join us,
please come golf with us in 2023.
The new Global Sponsorship
Program seeks donations from ISTAT
member companies in levels of
US$10,000 (bronze), US$25,000 (silver),
US$50,000 (gold) and US$100,000
(platinum). The Development Committee
looks forward to working with donor
companies to allocate the funds
toward ISTAT Foundation programs
such as golf events, diversity and
inclusion goals, named scholarships,
mentorship programs, educational
developments, additional grants and
other ESG objectives. In the future, the
Development Committee will endeavor
to develop relationships with nonaviation
charities and philanthropies as
a third pillar of funding aside from ISTAT
and the golf events.
The Development Committee
is comprised of its chair, Kristen
Chmielewski (GC Aero Law), and
its members, Stan Chmielewski
(Aircastle), Laura Cunningham (Arthur
Cox), Joey Johnsen (Zeevo Group),
Roy Nerenberg (Air Exchange), Rod
Sheridan (Nordic Aviation Capital), Jep
Thornton (Aerolease) and Joël Wagner
(SkyTech AIC).
