Aircraft Finance Insurance Consortium, Bob Roy of Aviation Capital Group and John
Wikoff of FPG AIM. Kuzbari noted that there were three themes regarding new
financing and potential concerns on the horizon for the industry: 1)
continuous competition and pressure on yields; 2) the aggregation of
everything happening to airlines (e.g., volatility in oil prices, trade
wars, interest rates, weakening currencies); and 3) the potential
interim oversupply of aircraft.
Richard Greener of GECAS moderated the Freighter
Panel and was joined by Dave Andrew of ASL
Aviation Group, Dr. Joerg Andriof of
Titan Aviation Leasing, Bob Brown of
Vx Capital Partners, Rich Corrado of
Air Transport Services Group and Geoff
Kehr of DHL. The panel discussed
end-of-life aircraft, the financing of
mid-life freighters and venturing into
mid-size widebodies.
Following that discussion,
representatives from regional aircrafts
participated in the Small Is Beautiful
panel. It was moderated by Rod
