ISTAT Launches
New Digital
Offerings
ISTAT's Program Advisory
Board was created
to explore digital
offerings to continue
to engage ISTAT
members in the
absence of in-person
meetings. This spring,
the advisory board was
thoughtfully discussing
and planning a new program
offering for members.
Several new initiatives have
launched as a result, including
ISTAT Chats - a series of casual
conversations with industry
leaders - and ISTAT Learning
Lab, which will include educational
webinars to serve different niches
of the membership. Thank you to

ISTAT Gives US$500K
for COVID-19 Relief

he COVID-19 pandemic has,
and will continue to have,
massive implications for
the travel, tourism and
aviation industries.
Due to this, ISTAT
has committed,
by way of the ISTAT Foundation,
US$500,000 for the purpose of
global COVID-19 relief. ISTAT
historically provides the ISTAT
Foundation with an annual grant to
continue its mission of supporting
individuals and institutions
that promote the advancement
of commercial aviation and
humanitarianism. The US$500,000
commitment to global COVID-19
relief is in addition to the US$800,000
presented to the ISTAT Foundation on
behalf of members in March. These funds
support planned giving through its Scholarships,
Internships, ISTAT University, Grants and Humanitarian
Aid Programs. With this relief grant, the Foundation will support
registered nonprofit, non-governmental organizations worldwide that are directly
responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
