" The core message is there, but people are cautious
around things that are greenwashed. Revolt is the last
stage before mass adoption, " said Thomas O'Leary.
He highlighted the importance of
performance in determining long-term
value and discussed the challenges and
considerations involved in converting
passenger aircraft to freighters.
Iarchy highlighted changes in
trading patterns, particularly in the
Chinese market, which have affected
the demand for freighter aircraft.
He noted that while there has been
a significant number of aircraft
conversions in recent years, there
is currently a lack of availability for
narrowbody freighters.
Parrott discussed UPS Airlines'
focus on small package business and
the importance of the 767-300 fleet.
He mentioned the considerations
involved in choosing between OEM and
third-party conversions for freighter
aircraft, emphasizing the importance
of slot availability and alignment with
previous conversions.

of human resources at SMBC Aviation
Capital; Michael Halaby, managing
director and head of aviation advisory
at MUFG Bank; Paul Sheridan, leader of
Aviation Finance Advisory Services at
PwC; Thomas O'Leary, chief executive
officer of JetZero; and Anders Forslund,
co-founder and chief executive officer
at Heart Aerospace.
Panelists discussed the growing
importance of ESG factors despite
skepticism and backlash. Cooney
emphasized the significance of
addressing social issues alongside
environmental concerns, highlighting
