organizations,
including eight

he ISTAT Foundation
supports individuals
and institutions
that promote the
advancement
of commercial
aviation and
humanitarianism. In 2022, the ISTAT
Foundation proudly supported 32
institutions and nearly 75 individuals
worldwide through five giving
programs. In addition, the Foundation
launched a special campaign for
Ukraine relief efforts, which raised
US$1 million. The far-reaching impact
of the ISTAT Foundation wouldn't be
possible without the generous support
of its donors.
" Air Camp is sincerely grateful to receive a grant from the
ISTAT Foundation. With your support of Air Camp's STEM education
programs, future generations are inspired to explore their interests
in science, technology, engineering and math, and consider pursuing
careers in aviation and aeronautics. "

outside the U.S. The Grants Committee,
led by chair Tracey O'Brien, provided
support to organizations in the United
States, South Africa, Ireland, United
Kingdom, Colombia, Kenya and
Singapore. Organizations outside the
U.S. received 40% of funds awarded.
In an effort to show additional
non-monetary support, members of the
ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees
traveled to Nairobi to support a 2022
grant recipient's STEM camp for local
students. During the self-funded trip,
the group worked alongside the grant
recipient and camp host, African
Leaders in Aviation, to share career
opportunities with over 200 local
students. The group also developed
new strategic relationships within the
aviation community with the goal of
continuing to raise overall awareness
about the charitable giving programs
the ISTAT Foundation offers.
The Grants Program will continue to
place increased emphasis on expanding
its global reach in the coming years.
