To that end, NAMSS has recently developed a self-assessment tool to assist MSPs in strengthening their leadership skills. This self-assessment is designed to identify areas of strength in ethics and areas one might want to strengthen. The tool has the following sections: • Leadership • Relationships • Clinicians • External Business Partners • NAMSS Code of Conduct
On a road to self-discovery, simply being more aware of one’s own professional ethics may be challenge enough to seek additional education and generate discussion among peers. ■ You may access the NAMSS Professional Ethics Self-Assessment Tool via the NAMSS website (www.namss.org/Portals/0/Ethics/ Self-assessment Tool.pdf).
