The portfolio includes matte, satin, semi-gloss, and gloss versions, as well as a natural cotton option; all are available in widths up to 122 in. The company reports that its proprietary coating enables users to print equal quality in fewer passes. The material is OBA-free and is made from a 35%-cotton/65%-polyester blend. The 75-in. machine is compatible with five varieties of textile inks - dye sublimation, disperse dye, textile pigment, reactive dye, and acid dye - for applications on synthetic and natural fabrics such as samples, one-offs, custom fashion, and more. The TX300P printer features a high-gap printhead, designed for imaging on a range of textiles, including finer materials, heavier fabrics, woven patterns, and raised fiber surfaces. The machine also leverages a textile feeding mechanism with drive rollers and front and rear tension bars for stable transportation. Additional features include waveform control, which calibrates each printhead for the specific gravity and viscosity of each individual ink color; variable dot printing with three different sizes; Mimaki Advanced Pass System 4, designed to reduce banding and uneven drying; a nozzle check unit and recovery system; and a bulk-ink system utilizing 2-L ink packs, capable of switching out an empty ink pack when printing in 4-color mode.
