Acrylite Digital Print is an optically clear acrylic sheet compatible with UV
curable inks. The media features clear edge color for exposed edges when
polished and is designed for color accuracy and durability in handling, shipping,
and installation. A cap layer is engineered for ink adhesion and reportedly
eliminates the need for primers and adhesion promoters. Acrylite Digital Print is
available in gloss and ADA-compliant nonglare fi nishes; color and markerboard
fi nishes are also available as made-to-order. Applications include P-O-P
displays, fi ne art and photography, tradeshow graphics, and more. Available in
48-in. sheets in 3-, 4.5-, and 5.6-mm thicknesses.

Top Value Fabrics has relaunched the High-Defi nition
Textiles by Georg+Otto Friedrich line of fabric media
(previously offered by Pacific Coast Fabrics, which TVF
has since acquired). The company reports the line is
engineered for digital fabric printing with high color clarity,
consistency, and defi nition and all substrates are
REACH-compliant and Oeko-Tex-certified. The line
includes the following flame-resistant, 100% recyclable
polyester media options:
* Microlux Soft 8179WFLBS white heavyweight fabric
with a smooth, satin-like fi nish that is print receptive on
both sides. The fabric is engineered with wrinkle resistance
for applications such as frontlit and backlit graphics,
backdrops, retail displays, tradeshow booths, and more.
Available in 124-in. rolls.
* Flag 6043KFLBW, a lightweight, open-mesh knit
constructed fabric designed for transparent applications
such as flags and window graphics. The preshrunk media
is available in 126-in. rolls.
* Pes-Mesh 6953GS features an open-knit design that
allows wind to pass through the fabric easily. The optic
white, eyelet mesh fabric is designed for applications
including fencing, building wraps, and flags. Available in
widths up to 122 in.
* Polyester Taﬀeta 9988KFLBG optic white, lightweight
fabric can be laminated onto rigid substrates such as skis,
skateboards, surf boards, and more. The 100% woven
fabric features a silky hand and is preshrunk. Applications
include flags, banners, P-O-P and retail graphics, tradeshow exhibits, and more. Available in 120-in. rolls.
* Satinette 6669PGFS is a warp-knit, optic white fabric
with a satin texture and high sheen. Applications include
banners, framing systems, fi ne art, retail displays, and
more. Available in widths up to 124 in.

Fujifi lm has added the Acuity LED 1600R, a 64-in. roll-to-roll press
designed for flexible media used in large-format graphic displays such as
backlit and window applications. The machine features Q-class printheads
from Fujifi lm Dimatix, a high-density mode capable of handling heatsensitive roll media, and prints 355 sq ft/hr.
Other features include instant startup, long-life LED UV lamps, no
ozone or VOC emissions, and the new Uvijet RL ink range, which is
available in CMYK and CMYKcm (along with a modular upgrade option to
include white). Drop sizes range from 10 to 30 pL, allowing for smooth tonal
ranges, fi ne text, and solid colors.
