Large-Format Printers in
Tune with Working Practices
UV inkjet systems from swissQprint are based
on shared fundamentals: Swiss quality, high
precision, and a robust modular design, with a
variety of practical application opportunities.
The large-format printers process almost every
common material, and unusual substrates, too.
All this creates design freedom and competitive
advantages for the user. SwissQprint will
present their extended product portfolio for
the first time in North America at the Printing
United show in Dallas.

FLATBED RANGE
The flatbed models Oryx, Impala, and Nyala come in different
sizes (98 x 79 inches or 126 x 79 inches) and meet with various
productivity levels. Impala and Nyala are also available as speed
models for highest output up to 3952 square feet per hour.
All of them offer add-on features as required: Examples include a
roll-to-roll option for printing on flexible materials such as banners,
technical textiles, or self-adhesive films, and the board option that
provides a simple method of printing on oversized boards up to 157.5
inches long. In addition to the CMYK standard, the machines can be
equipped with light colors, white, varnish, and primer thanks to a
maximum of nine color channels. Any of the options are retrofittable
for maximum flexibility.

The roll-to-roll printer Karibu
has unique features.

DEDICATED ROLL-TO-ROLL PRINTER
SwissQprint has complemented the range by introducing a
dedicated roll-to-roll printer this year: Karibu. It is 133 inches wide
and has a maximum output of 2282 square feet per hour.
Karibu's Swiss DNA guarantees precision, reliability, and durability.
The same with regard to excellent energy efficiency - although this
is only one of the reasons for the exceptionally low total cost of
ownership. Another: extremely high system availability thanks to
minimal maintenance requirements.
Unique features make Karibu a highly efficient and versatile printer:
A cassette system for fast loading and changing of rolls. The built-in
Light Box for immediate and continuous quality control of backlit
prints. Thanks to the Mesh Kit, printing mesh is effortless and clean
with no liner necessary. And with the Lory output software, the user
can adjust print parameters post RIP.
Last but not least, Karibu is extremely versatile: Cool LED
technology gives the user extensive freedom of choice in materials.
The newly developed ink set adds an extra touch: specially made
for roll printing, it offers impressive flexibility, adhesion, and a large
color gamut. With a formulation that is friendly to health and the
environment (Greenguard Gold certified), printed products are even
allowed in hospitals.
Karibu will have its North American debut at the Printing United show in
Dallas, October 23-25. The swissQprint team at booth 8845 will present
both the high-end flatbed printers and the new roll-to-roll solution.
