About the cover: Periandros Damoulis, owner of Nafplio, Greece’s Damoulis Signs and www.icarvings.com, began producing signs as a 15-year-old apprentice. Today, he plies his trade for hotels and businesses that serve the coastal city’s tourist community. He built this HDU restaurant sign, and decorated it with Muralo waterbased paint and 23.75k goldleaf. He credits Bloomington Designs’ Gary Anderson with inspiration for the banner’s sunburst element.
