ROLL-FED UV LED PRINTER LINE

Earlier this year at its Connect users'
conference, EFI launched two new
UV-LED roll-to-roll printers with print
speeds up to 4896 sq ft/hr. The Vutek 5r
(196-in.) and Vutek 3r (138-in.) models
both offer resolutions up to 1200 dpi
through the company's UltraDrop
technology with 7-pL printheads and
multi-drop addressability for smoothness in shadows, gradients, and
transitions. A color distribution
algorithm reportedly extends ink usage
to an average of 1600 sq ft/L of ink.
Inline roll-to-sheet cutting, slitting,
and sheet collection is available to help
automate job handling. Other options
include automated double-sided backlit
and blockout printing; a mobile app for
remote printer monitoring; multilayer
white printing; and additional light
colors for extended gamut imaging.

AUTOMATIC OVAL PRESS

M&R has revealed the VictoryOne
automatic oval screen printing press,
developed in partnership with Hanglory
Group of Shenzen, China. The machine
is available in 6-station modules
ranging from 22 stations/6 colors to 64
stations/24 colors. Small platens offer a
max. image area of 16.5 x 27.5 in.; large
platens span an image area of 21.5 x
27.5 in. Features include a servo-driven
indexer and servo-drive printheads.
Standalone Sechuan quartz flash-cure
units, designed specifically for the
press, are available.

The RM-L router from Zünd is designed
for routing, engraving, and polishing
heavy-duty materials including acrylics,
polycarbonates, Dibond, Forex, MDF,
Plexiglas, and more. The water-cooled
spindle offers 3.6 kW of power and 0.7

Nm of torque, reportedly allowing
dense materials to be cut at greater
speeds and to greater depths (up to
1.97 in.). The router also comes with a
dust extraction system and is compatible with the company's D3 and G3
cutter series. Features include a
lubrication system for minimizing
friction and extending bit life, and an
intelligent surface compensation
system that determines the material
thickness, detects inconsistencies
between sheets during a run, and
compensates to prevent quality issues.
The RM-L also has an optional ARC
HSK automatic tool changer capable of
handling eight preloaded collet holders.

ranging from infant to adult 4XL sizes. It
can also be used with slippery fabrics
such as rayon and 100% polyester.
Once shirts are folded, a conveyor
belt moves them to either the ROQpack
bagging unit or the ROQstack boxing
unit. The ROQpack's poly bags feature
a resealable lip and hold up to six
pieces. Operators choose the specific
bag size at the control panel; the
machine creates the correct size for
each job. Bags are printable.
The ROQstack allows garments to
be placed in boxes, with up to 24
garments per box. Labeling and metal
detection are available.

The new Cube automatic pretreatment
machine from Brother DTG includes an
electric system with a max. spray area
of 16 x 20 in. The machine is engineered
to spray pretreatment fluid consistently
on shirts that will be DTG printed and to

Ryonet has released the ROQfold,
ROQstack, and ROQpack to automate
the folding, stacking, and packing of
garments.
ROQfold, run with one operator, can
fold up to 800 garments/hr, with bulk
folding of up to six garments possible.
ROQfold is designed to work with all
sizes, styles, and fabric types, including
short sleeve, long sleeve, fleece,

prevent mist from escaping into the
shop with a fully enclosed design. A
single-spray nozzle controls the length
and amount of fluid dispensed while a
triple-coated frame is designed to hinder
corrosion over time. The Cube measures
20 x 29.5 x 23 in.
