RH Solutions has introduced Atma's
new Atmatic MF88/H Fully Automatic Register Screen Printer,
designed for high-precision applications on rigid substrates. The press
employs a four-post design and
features a CCD registration system;
the print table is automatically
positioned in three axes as directed by
the CCD camera. Servo motors control
the table movement as well as print/
flood stroke, peel-off, and raising/
lowering the screen assembly. A
parts-handling systems loads and
unloads products automatically and all
print parameters can be stored and
recalled. Applications include touch
screen panels, ITO conductive glass,
high-precision cover lenses, and
PMMA printing.

Virus Inks has announced WOW
(wet-on-wet) ink technology, designed
for screen printing textiles with
water-based inks without flash curing
between colors. The technology, first
shown in Hamburg, Germany, at

FESPA 2017 (where jobs were being
run with only two flash curing units
for the underbase and highlight
whites), is designed to increase
productivity and simplify workflow
with water-based inks, particularly for
entry-level printers with presses that
cannot accommodate multiple flash
curing units. Ink with WOW technology is available for 4-color, spot color,
and simulated process color prints.

The TX500P-3200DS superwide
direct-to-textile printer from Mimaki
offers printing and finishing in one
system, eliminating the need for a
separate heat press as with traditional
dye sub printing. The 126-in. machine is
engineered to print and offer inline
color fixation with speeds up to 1399 sq
ft/hr in high-speed draft mode.
Features include printer and heat
unit synchronization; a high-gap print
setting for ink droplet accuracy on
woven patterns, raised fiber surfaces,
and other textiles; 12 staggered
printheads; an automatic media feeder
and pulling roller; Mimaki's Advanced
Pass System 4; a nozzle check unit
and nozzle recovery system; and
RasterLink6 RIP software. The
company's TxLink3 textile RIP
software is optional.

Ryonet has released the Sgreen Ink
Degrader Recirculation System,
designed to reduce the amount of
chemicals that go down a shop's drain
while allowing shops to use less
cleaning product. The system features
a 30-gal tank with an attached bristle

flow-through brush. Using a standard
air compressor (not included), the unit
dispenses cleaner through the brush
onto the item being cleaned. Used
cleaner is filtered through a 75-micron
filter and then collected to a tank
below, ready for reuse. The unit can
reclaim up to 15 gal of chemicals at a
time and can remove ink from squeegees, floodbars, screens, spatulas, and
ink buckets.

UV/UV LED Durable Screen Ink,
formulated for adhesion on vinyl and
print-treated polyester and said to be
durable outdoors for four years
without an overprint or five years with
an overprint. Nazdar reports the 2800
Series accepts premask, is chemicalresistant, and resists chipping during
thermal die cutting.
