HP has unveiled HP Stitch dye sublimation printers that print to transfer paper or
direct to fabric at 1200 dpi. The entry-level
HP Stitch S300 [pictured] is a 64-in.
printer with a max. print speed of 665 sq
ft/hr using four printheads. The 64-in. HP
Stitch S500 has a max. print speed of
1185 sq ft/hr and eight printheads for use
in high-production environments.
Features include user-replaceable,
thermal inkjet printheads; front-loading
media; and HP Smart Nozzle Compensation system. HP Smart Color tools
comprise automatic detection of out-ofgamut color, built-in spectrophotometer
for color accuracy, and Pantone emulation
for a close visual match. Intended for such
applications as interior décor, fashion,
sportswear, and soft signage.

launched the
3DFF-222 desktop
3D printer,
co-branded with
Sindoh, a South
Korean-based
MIMAKI USA
printer manufacturer. Using Fused Filament Fabrication
(FFF), the 3D printer is intended as an
in-house design and production tool
for parts such as jigs used in direct-toobject printing and tools for producing
three-dimensional signage. The 3D
machine prints parts up to 8.27 x 7.87
x 7.67 in. and users can monitor jobs
via an included app. Features include
automatic filament installation, heated
flexible bed, semi-automatic bed
leveling, full-color touch panel, and a
fully covered design.

Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro, a single-step,
industrial direct-to-garment printer
featuring new Kornit NeoPoly
Technology for on-demand digital textile
printing on polyester. The NeoPoly
system allows for low-temperature
curing without dye migration or damage
to the fabric, the company reports.
Features CMYK + white + poly enhancer
with an integrated ink recirculation
system; Kornit NeoPigment Olympia
PVC-free inks are Oeko-Tex and
Eco-Passport certified. With a printing
area of 23.5 x 35 in., the machine
images up to 1200 dpi resolution on
white or dark polyester of varying
types: woven, knits, poly blends, and
