AAA Travel Money A reloadable Visa prepaid card is a convenient alternative to carrying cash, is not tied to your bank account and doubles as a great budgeting tool. These cards are accepted at millions of merchants and ATMs worldwide. Available for purchase at AAA branch locations. International Driving Permit AAA is one of two private entities in the U.S. authorized by the U.S. Department of State to issue an International Driving Permit. It is an accepted form of identification in 150 countries. IDPs are available through select AAA offices, so it's a good idea to check in advance to ensure IDPs are offered at your AAA branch. You'll need to provide a completed IDP application [download at aaa.com/idp], two original passport photos each signed on the back, a photocopy of both sides of your driver's license and a $20 permit fee. IDPs can only be issued a maximum of six months in advance of the desired effective date. Passport Photos Every citizen who leaves or re-enters the U.S. must have a valid passport - even babies! AAA can assist you with your passport application, however only the U.S. Department of State can actually issue a U.S. passport. Plan to apply for your passport at least 12 weeks before you need it. COVID-19 has delayed the Department of State's processing capabilities, so it's best to start early. You'll need a current, 2 inch x 2 inch color photo included with your application. Most full-service AAA branches will provide you with a set of photos for a nominal charge. Plus Members receive up to two sets free and Premier Members are not charged for any of their photo sets. 48 VISIT YOUR LOCAL AAA OFFICE CALL 800-750-5386 CLICK AAA.COM/TRAVELhttp://www.aaa.com/idp http://www.AAA.COM/TRAVEL
