GALLERY DUSTY CROWN Steve Leonard This colorful image is centered on the northern portion of the emission nebula IC 1396 in Cepheus. The dark nebulosity at center is slowly dispersing due to ultraviolet radiation from a hot, young star outside the field of view. The bluish planetary nebula IRAS 21394+5844 is seen at the top.
