provides 16.5 stops of dynamic range, as
well as 5K resolution at up to 96 fps in full
format and 120 fps at 5K 2.4:1. Consistent
with the rest of Red's DSMC2 lineup,
Dragon-X offers 300MB/s data-transfer
speeds and simultaneous recording of
Redcode Raw and Apple ProRes or Avid
DNxHD/HR.

Designed for professional shooting
configurations, the DSMC2 Production
Module accessory mounts directly to the
DSMC2 camera body and incorporates an
industry standard V-Lock mount with integrated battery mount and P-Tap for 12volt accessories. The module delivers a
comprehensive array of video, XLR audio,
power, and communication connections,
including support for three-pin 24-volt
accessories. It has a smaller form factor
and is more lightweight than Red's Redvolt
Expander with a battery module.
The DSMC2 Production Module is
also available as part of a DSMC2 Production Kit that includes a Production Handle
and DSMC2 Production Top Plate.

BB&S Increases
Output
BB&S Lighting has
unveiled the Pipeline Reflect
System. Based on the company's 1"
cylindrical linear Remote Phosphor Pipes, the
Pipeline Reflect System incorporates a new
range of reflectors, offering optimal control,
double the output, and a 90-degree light
dispersal with practically no spill. Like all
Pipeline fixtures, it runs off of 48 volts for
precise dimming and optimal strobe capability,
especially when used with the optional BB&S
4-Way Controller.
The Reflect System doubles the footcandle output of the BB&S Pipeline 1"-diameter, 95-TLCI (3,200K, 4,300K or 5,600K), accurate color-rendering remote-phosphor LED
Pipes. Available in 1', 2', 3', 4', 6' and 8' lengths,
Reflect housings are made of rigid, polished
aluminum with a flat base and 1.5"-high
contoured walls with a 2"-wide opening. A
built-in speed-rail-type solution allows the
Reflect housing to be easily attached to lighting grids, or they can be placed side-by-side or
end-to-end using a range of accessories.
Reflect units feature a three-pin XLR
plug for control of the electronic configuration. The fixtures can be operated via the
BB&S 4-Way Controller (which offers four
40-watt channels), with optional wireless
DMX/RDM control, or via built-in DMX 512
in/out (all function). Controllers can be wallor ceiling-mounted. BB&S also offers Pipeline
10-, 20-, 30- and 40-watt manually controlled
Driver Dimmers with three-pin XLR for
powering the Reflect fixtures with optional

20- or 65-watt power supplies or used with
14.4-volt DC batteries. Barn doors, grid accessories, and optional removable gel filters are
also planned for the Reflect System.
