ARRI OFF THE SHELF AND INTO SPACE. When NASA decided to take motion pictures in space they turned to the ARRI 35-3. Usually, before flying "off-the-shelf" products, NASA requires modifications. But when NASA engi¬ neers put the ARRI 35-3 to the tests-heat, vibration, g-forces- they found that expected modifications were simply not needed.
