Todd-AO 65mm Shorts

was called The Miracle of Todd-AO, filmed
in 65mm at 30 fps. The other was called The

Kinetoscope Films Found
My father, who is 82 years old,
has some very old Edison home kinetoscope
movies in his possession. He is in the pro¬
cess of moving and is going to give them to
me. The film is very fragile and there is some
perforation damage. These films were
probably made between 1910 and 1920. My
father also has an old projector (without
lamphouse) used to project this unique for¬
mat.

The perforations divide the width
of the film into 3 separate frames close to
the size of Super 8. The projector is hand-

Todd-AO in Denmark, and I have not been

Unfortunate Omission

Imagine our surprise upon re¬
ceipt of the November 1991 issue of your
magazine: the Special Location Report on
Florida omitted our facility, Century III at
Universal Studios.
Several weeks ago, I was inter¬
viewed by Ms. Brooke Comer and Ms.
Melissa Chiprin of your magazine. My in¬
terview was quite extensive and all of my
responses were recorded on audio tape.
Both of your representatives were given a

detailed tour of our postproduction facili¬
ties. Not only was my interview not included
in this issue, but our facility was not men¬
tioned either (even in the listing of services
offered at Universal Studios Florida-and
we are the largest company on the lot).
I felt it necessary to express to
you my
