control was 2.87 (p = .05). The item that generated the lowest mean for both groups was interaction with the residence life office: wellness (M = 2.68) and the control (M = 2.98). Residence hall living experience. Students were asked for their satisfaction rating on six items in the construct residence hall living experience: sleep without interruption, study in room, noise level on floor, study facilities provided, cleanliness of building, and lifestyle choices. None of the items showed a significant difference between the pharmacy floor and the same-hall control floors. A comparison of mean differences between engineering/architecture floors and same-hall control floors for the residence hall living items revealed a significant difference on only one item: the cleanliness of the building you live in. Engineering/architecture had a 3.74 mean satisfaction rating, and the control had a 3.33 (p = .000). A comparison of mean differences between the wellness floors and same-hall control floors found no significant difference for any of the items in this construct. Residence hall learning experience. Students were asked for their satisfaction rating on eight items related to residence hall learning: building relationships with students in the same major, building relationships with faculty/ staff in their major, learning more about their major, building relationships with faculty/staff across campus, becoming successful academically, establishing goals, developing effective study skills, and having a positive living experience. As shown in Table 2, a comparison of mean differences between pharmacy floors and same-hall control floors found significant differences for six of the eight items.

Table 2 also provides a comparison of mean differences between the engineering/architecture-themed and same-hall control groups (p = .05) for the construct how satisfied are you with your residence hall learning experience? There were significant differences on three items. The other survey items did not show a significant difference. Students in the wellness-themed floor and the control floors were asked for their satisfaction rating on eight items related to residence hall learning. Students were asked for their satisfaction rating on six items related to their residence hall student staff: becoming knowledgeable about their major, building relationships with other students in their major, learning more about their major, learning more about campus resources, being provided with programs beneficial to their major, and receiving answers to questions about living on campus. Table 3 provides a comparison of mean differences for the pharmacy and same-hall control groups for the construct how satisfying was your experience with the residence hall student staff as a resource? A significant difference (p < .001) was found for four of the six items: becoming knowledgeable about their major (p = .000), building relationships with other students in their major (p = .000), learning more about their major (p = .000), and being provided with programs that were beneficial to learning more about their major (p = .000).
