Crystal Bouhl has been promoted to assistant directormarketing. Over the past nine years, Bouhl has served SIUC university housing as the coordinator of marketing and public information and as the publicity and promotions specialist. Previously, Bouhl served nine years in the Illinois Army National Guard with three years as an active duty recruitment and retention officer and six years as an ILARNG communications specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in speech communication with a specialization in public relations and a Master of Science in speech communication. Emery S. Jordan is the new assistant director-residence life for Brush Towers. Prior to SIUC, Jordan served as a residence manager at Indiana University in Bloomington. He holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois, a Master of Arts in student affairs administration in higher education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and is currently seeking two additional degrees from Indiana University: Master of Business Administration and Master of Strategic Management. Jordan has also gained higher education experience working at Olivet College in Michigan and at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Kathie Lorentz has been promoted to assistant director-academic initiatives. Lorentz previously served as a housing programming coordinator for university housing and also as a coordinator for volunteer programs at SIUC in student development. She holds two degrees from SIUC: a Master of Science in education administration and higher education-college student personnel and a Bachelor of Science in business education. Steve Smith has been promoted to assistant director-contracts. Prior to his promotion, Smith served SIUC university housing for five years as the coordinator of contracts and outreach. He has a Bachelor of Science in marketing, an MBA, and a Master of Science in rehabilitation administration from SIUC. Previously, he had served as director of information technology for several large-scale organizations. Lindy Wagner is the new assistant director-residence life for University Park. Prior to SIUC, she served as assistant director of residential life at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in international studies from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri, and a Master of Science in college student personnel from Kansas State University in Manhattan. Additionally, Wagner spent several years working within the residence life program at Syracuse University in New York. Brian Kelley is the new coordinator of residence life for Thompson Point.

Chris Jones is a new hall director for Neely Hall, University Park. Brandon Macier is a new hall director for Thompson Point. Ashley Jackson is a new hall director for Mae Smith, Brush Towers. Ericka Duckworth is a new hall director for Schneider Hall, Brush Towers.

Dawn Sawyer is the new coordinator of undergraduate assignments. Amy Jorgenson is the new coordinator of marketing. Carolynn Nath Komanski is the new residence director for the Springs Complex. Mary Catherine “MC” Schell is the new coordinator of academic residential programs. Matthew Scruggs is the new residence life coordinator for the Murphree Area. Jen Gresley is the new residence life coordinator for the Keys Complex and Tolbert Area. T.J. (Thomas) Logan, former assistant director of housing for administrative services, is now associate director for administrative services. Azfar Mian, former director of housing for administrative services/director of technology, is now director of housing for financial services and IT services. Ryan Winget, former residence life coordinator for the Murphree Area, is now the assistant director of housing for East Campus. Dr. Kim Fugate-Roberts, former student development and curriculum specialist, is now the assistant director of housing for residential curriculum and assessment. Cliff Haynes, former coordinator of academic residential programs, is now the academic initiatives specialist. Roger Becks, former assistant director of housing for East Campus, has taken a position with Allen & O’Hara, a privatized housing/property management company in Tucson, Arizona. Mason Reuter, former residence life coordinator for Keys/ Tolbert, has taken an assistant director position at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Vince Roberts, former coordinator of undergraduate assignments, has taken an associate director position at Florida State University in Tallahassee. Denise Tanner, former director of housing for financial services, has retired.
