Candidates should have knowledge of natural gas distribution system assets from an operations and/or engineering perspective. Candidates also are expected to have an above average knowledge of common IT systems used by utilities for asset and work management. We seek an individual to plan, develop, coordinate and issue policies, procedures and standards for all NU operating company activities related to credit and collection of both active and inactive accounts. Position Requirements: Baccalaureate degree in business administration, majoring in accounting, finance or economics, or equivalent, and 10 years of experience in credit and collection and customer service, including 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience required. Advanced degree preferable. Will be responsible for an organization with approximately 90 employees and eight direct-report supervisors. Must have demonstrated knowledge of or ability to acquire a knowledge of utility regulations, statutes and practices, including utility accounting practices and systems, budgeting systems, reporting systems, ratemaking procedures, credit and collection regulations, and credit and collection policies and practices. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure of severe time constraints is a must.
