DIrEcTOr, raTES—UGi Utilities inc., located in reading, Pa., seeks an experienced candidate for director, rates. responsibilities of successful candidate will include: • Define, oversee and direct all rate and regulatory personnel and activities for UGI’s four business units in accordance and compliance with established tariffs, regulations, policies and procedures; provide related expert witness testimony and negotiation facilitation as required; address ad-hoc issue resolution across the company and with third-party business associates and customers. • Direct the preparation, filing and administration of all required filings and reports with the Pennsylvania PUC, Maryland PSC and, as related to electric transmission, with PJm and Ferc. • Oversee and direct the review, design, development and implementation of UGi rate structures and mechanisms, including firm and interruptible retail and transportation service offerings as well as net metering and real-time pricing; inclusive of small “choice” service offerings and supplier management activities. • ensure timeliness and ac-
curacy of all work products and rate management activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal needs, including SOX compliance. • Participate as UGI’s representative/advocate in related industry group activities (Energy Association of Pennsylvania, American Gas Association, etc.); Pennsylvania PUc and maryland Psc rulemaking activities, working groups and collaborative activities; develop and present associated UGi positions; coordinate UGi positions with other natural gas distribution companies and electric distribution companies as required; coordinate activities with UGI government affairs as required. Develop, maintain and leverage associated professional relationships in support of these activities. • Assist in and direct the development and execution of business strategies in support of company goals and objectives, including the development of executive management support. candidate will: Hold a Bs or BA degree in engineering, finance, economics or technical equivalent with and, optionally but preferred, MBA, MS or JD.
