Provide engineering support for operations, including LNG Truck on/off loading, alarm and control response and diagnosis, vaporization, liquefaction, NFPA 59 A and CFR 193 code inspection/ compliance. Assist with monitoring and tracking LNG Plant operations, maintenance and security to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Assist with scheduling and ensure appropriate documentation of all LNG Plant inspections in accordance with NFPA 59 A and CFR 193. Monitor plant processes and energy usage to evaluate and recommend changes to increase equipment efficiency and reduce operating expenses. Develop yearly emergency scenarios to test plant emergency readiness. Conduct random audits on code and documentation compliance with applicable LNG codes. Assume LNG plant On-Call Supervisor responsibilities. Position Requirements • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required. Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred. • Five (5) years of related experience, prefer- able in an LNG plant environment. Knowledge of process systems, pipeline and distribution system operations. • Demonstrated ability to analyze situations and make sound decisions in normal and emergency situations. • Demonstrated ability to read and understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) and follow schematic drawings. • Must be capable of performing field related duties which could include climbing LNG storage tanks and working in inclement weather conditions • Must be available for on-call assignments • Must be willing to commute between CT & MA LNG plants as required. • This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing.
