Online Itinerary Planner-Coming
Soon
The online itinerary planner will become
available in early May. You will be able to
view the entire program in a user-friendly format and create a personalized
itinerary for the sessions you would like
to attend in San Diego. Full text of the
abstracts will be made available approximately 1 week before the meeting. Visit

Interactive Online Posters
Unable to meet with a poster presenter? You can still learn more about the
science! Each poster presented at the
Scientific Sessions will have a corresponding barcode on its board. Scan the
barcode with your smartphone, tablet, or
handheld device to access an electronic
version of the poster, corresponding
abstract, and audio commentary by the
presenter (if provided).
Computer kiosks will also be located
within the poster hall for electronic
poster viewing.

Scientific Sessions Meeting App-
Coming Soon
Put the Scientific Sessions in the palm of
your hand! Use ADA's Scientific Sessions
Meeting app for on-the-go access to
meeting information on your smartphone
or handheld device. Features include
a customizable calendar and itinerary
builder, interactive meeting program
and session schedules, exhibitor listing
with interactive booth map, social media
interface, and special meeting alerts.

Along with the 35 continuing education credits available from the Scientific
Sessions, attendees will also have the
opportunity to potentially earn additional
credit hours through corporate symposia.
Corporate symposia are satellite programs that are planned and conducted by
the corporate community in conjunction
with the Scientific Sessions. These programs provide attendees with additional
education and information opportunities.

Networking Reception
Join us on the terrace of the San Diego
Convention Center on Friday evening,
June 9, for a networking reception. This is
a great opportunity to renew connections
with friends and colleagues or make new
ones. Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.

Pre-registered attendees received
an email on Monday, April 3, which
included instructions on registering for
the corporate symposia. Attendees who
register after April 3 will be able to select
corporate symposia when registering. All
programs will take place at the Hilton San
Diego Bayfront and Marriott Marquis
San Diego Marina.
Program content is the sole responsibility
of the supporting company and is not
part of the official education offered by
the ADA at the Scientific Sessions.

Product Theaters
Product theaters, located in the rear of
the exhibit hall, offer informative sessions
focusing on particular products or a
single facet of diabetes. These sessions
will be conveniently scheduled during
morning, lunch, and afternoon breaks in
the exhibit hall on Saturday, Sunday, and
Monday.
Product theater sessions do not provide continuing education credit. These
sessions are intended for health care
professionals only with practices relevant
to the presented information.
Light refreshments provided by the
American Diabetes Association will be
served to the first 300 attendees.
Product theater content is the sole
responsibility of the supporting company
and is not part of the official education
offered by the ADA at the Scientific
Sessions.

5K@ADA
Join us for the 5K@ADA Fun Run/Walk
on Sunday morning, June 11, sponsored
by Novo Nordisk. This fun event gives
you the opportunity to raise public
awareness about the importance of a
healthy lifestyle.
On-site registration opens at 6:00 a.m.
and the warm up begins at 6:15 a.m.
The race will be held behind the San
Diego Convention Center and will begin
promptly at 6:30 a.m.
Limited shuttle bus service will be
provided to the convention center for the
event. Register now at ada5k.com.
Want to race in style sporting a 5K@ADA
running shirt? Shirts are available for
purchase FOR $20 when you register for
the meeting.
