ADA-APA Mental Health Program continued from p. 7
PROGRAM
This two-part diabetes CE program for licensed mental health providers, developed by national
experts in psychosocial aspects of diabetes, in partnership with the ADA and APA, includes:

A 7-hour in-person course offered nationally and soon to be offered regionally

*

An additional 5-hour online course to be completed within 3 months of the in-person course

Seven CE credits for the 1-day in-person training and five CE credits for the online training

CE credits are sponsored by the APA Office of Continuing Education in Psychology
(CEP). The APA CEP Office has reviewed and approved the programs to offer CE credits for
psychologists. The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

To maintain a listing in the directory, clinicians need to maintain their membership to ADA
(as low as $75/year).

*

The $45 value of the membership dues is allocated to the Clinical Diabetes subscription; dues
are not deductible for federal income tax purposes as a charitable donation. Membership is
