Enhanced Interest Group Benefits for American
Diabetes Association Members
This fall, members of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) will have the opportunity to join two refreshed Interest Groups that will provide several benefits, including
leadership and engagement opportunities. The ADA's Membership Advisory Group,
chaired by Alvin C. Powers, MD, a professor of medicine, molecular physiology,
and biophysics at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and ADA's Past President,
Medicine & Science, has been extensively evaluating the Interest Groups and determining strategies for strengthening their year-round engagement.
