Association Launches New Eye Health
Interest Group
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is pleased to
announce the launch of a new Eye Health Interest Group.
This new Interest Group is the latest of 16 members-only
groups providing a forum for the exchange of information in
specialized areas of diabetes research and care. It aims to bring
together international clinicians and scientists to advance the
understanding of diabetes and eye health.
Over the next several weeks, the Eye Health Interest Group
will establish a Leadership Team and organize a discussion
session for the ADA's 80th Scientific Sessions (#ADA2020),
which will be held June 12-16, 2020, in Chicago, IL. It will also
host online discussions via the DiabetesPro Member Forum
and plan other engagement activities.
ADA members interested in the field of eye care are strongly encouraged to look for email communications that will
include more information about the new Interest Group and
opportunities to get involved.

professional.diabetes.org/forum. Please note that members
can join up to two Interest Groups, as well as the Women's
