(WIN ADA) is the ADA's
members-only network for
female clinicians, scientists,
educators, and other health
professionals in diabetes.
The group will hold an inperson
networking reception
on Friday, June 3, from 6:30
to 8:30 p.m. CT at the 82nd
Scientific Sessions in New
Orleans, LA.
The event will provide an
opportunity for ADA members
to connect and enjoy light
refreshments. Attendees will
meet the 2022 Lois Jovanovic
Transformative
Woman in
Diabetes
Award winner,
Maureen
Gannon, PhD.
The reception is open to all
ADA members who have
registered for the in-person

Medical Director of Endocrinology - Physician | Baylor Scott &
White Health (BSWH)-Dallas, TX
BSWH is seeking a visionary and collaborative leader with strong
clinical and leadership skills to become medical director of inpatient
endocrinology in Dallas, TX. This position involves both inpatient
clinical and administrative duties. The successful candidate will
establish and practice in an inpatient endocrinology consultation
service, lead accreditation efforts, help to establish standard order
sets and protocols, assist in quality improvement efforts, participate
in teaching for the medical and nursing staffs and graduate and
undergraduate medical education programs, establish collaborative
glycemic control programs throughout the hospital, participate
in research, and help to organize diabetes-related aspects of the
electronic health record system.
Primary Care Nurse Practitioner | Dignity Health-Las Vegas and
Henderson, NV
Dignity Health Medical Group Nevada is seeking experienced family
nurse practitioners to join its growing outpatient primary care team in
Las Vegas and Henderson, NV. This adult-medicine position would be
hospital-employed with St. Rose Dominican Hospitals and involves
no night, weekend, or call duties. Responsibilities include acute sick
visits, lab/imaging follow-up appointments, management of stable
chronic medical conditions with a goal of moving to management of
medically complex patients, and Medicare annual wellness exams.
Nurse practitioner practice experience is strongly preferred, and local
candidates are preferred.
Certified Diabetes Educator | Eagles Landing Health-Georgia
This Georgia-based health system is seeking a diabetes educator with
comprehensive knowledge of and experience in diabetes prevention
and prediabetes and diabetes management. The successful candidate
will promote diabetes self-management to achieve individualized
behavioral and treatment goals that reduce risks and optimize health
outcomes. Responsibilities include identifying and treating current and
prospective diabetes cases, educating patients on self-management
techniques, tracking and promoting treatment adherence, and
strengthening an existing multidisciplinary network. Requirements
include a degree in nursing with pertinent licensure, completion of
a formally recognized diabetes education training program, and
demonstrable diabetes education experience.
