DPP Express: Do More With Your Data
The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is happy to share several updates on its DPP Express platform.
DPP Express promotes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC's) National Diabetes Prevention
Program (National DPP) by supporting CDC-recognized lifestyle change programs through a user-friendly, secure,
Web-based charting platform that allows users to collect data and generate reports that align with Diabetes Prevention
Recognition Program (DPRP) requirements.
Recent updates to the platform include:
* Improved reporting features. An updated program metrics report now features an enrollment motivation chart that
aligns with the 2021 DPRP Standards' participant enrollment motivation categories.
* Updates to curriculum documentation options. The 2021 version of CDC's Prevent T2 curriculum is now included as
a curriculum option for cohorts.
* New downloadable program-wide data report. This new comprehensive report allows program administrator users to
download entire data point categories as Excel worksheets directly from the DPP Express platform.
DPP Express for Umbrella Networks
To meet the growth of the National DPP lifestyle change program, the ADA continues to expand its work with umbrella
networks. DPP Express' umbrella network plan supports organizations that are managing multiple programs, including
grant recipients, state health departments, collaboratives, and CDC Umbrella Hubs, by consolidating subsidiary
data in one location. Umbrella networks can securely access deidentified subsidiary data. This feature gives network
managers the ability to access more than 125 data variables, evaluate and conduct their own analysis, and access
additional program-, coach-, and cohort-level reports for an unlimited number of subsidiaries.

DPPExpress@diabetes.org or visit the DPP Express page on the
