Late-Breaking Abstract Submissions for Scientific Sessions is open, pg. 14 Association Publishes Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes-2020 The American Diabetes Association's (ADA's) Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes provides the latest in comprehensive, evidencebased recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of people with diabetes, strategies to prevent type 2 diabetes, and therapeutic approaches to reduce complications and improve health outcomes. The Standards of Care is published annually, and the 2020 version is now available online at professional.diabetes.org/standards. Highlights for 2020 Diabetes care professionals will find simplified figures and tables that more easily guide them through treatment options and individualized recommendations for the management of cardiovascular disease (CVD) based on patients' preexisting conditions. Special considerations for older adults with type 1 diabetes have also been added to address the unique needs of this growing population, as well as revised recommendations and additional evidence supporting the use of rapidly changing diabetes technologies.
