From the inception of the Ramsey plant redesign, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation sought to improve throughput capacities and system efficiencies while optimizing safety and processing economics. The re-engineered West Texas plant was commissioned in phases consisting of four cryogenic trains with a daily capacity of 700 million cubic feet a day, a 1,400 gallon/minute amine regeneration train, and 18,000 barrel a day drip condensate stabilization capacity. Four of the cryogenic plants are now in operation, with a fifth slated for startup later this year. 54 THE AMERICAN OIL & GAS REPORTER
