USA Compression Buys ETP Compression Assets
AUSTIN, TX.-USA Compression Partners LP (USAC), Energy Transfer Partners
LP and Energy Transfer Equity LP announce a $1.8 billion transaction through
which USAC will acquire ETP subsidiaries
CDM Resource Management LLC and
CDM Environmental & Technical Services
LLC (collectively CDM).
USAC points out that it owns and operates 1.6 million horsepower of natural
gas compression and is focused primarily
on large horsepower applications. The
company says acquiring CDM will take
its fleet to 3.4 million horsepower, while
expanding its geographic coverage into
regions where it now is underrepresented.

As part of its service offerings, USAC
says CDM provides a full range of gas
treating and emissions testing services.
According to the company, these activities
will complement USAC's growing station
services offerings, in which it provides
turnkey gas handling solutions.
"This is an exciting day for USAC,"
comments Eric Long, the company's president and chief executive officer. "CDM
brings to USAC a complementary and
standardized fleet of large horsepower,
infrastructure-oriented equipment, a customer-focused operating philosophy, and
a strong employee base consistent with

TETRA Acquires SwiftWater To Better Serve West Texas
THE WOODLANDS, TX.-TETRA
Technologies Inc. says it has acquired
SwiftWater Energy Services LLC, which
provides water management and water
solutions to the Permian Basin.
TETRA says the acquisition enhances
its position as an integrated completion
fluids and water management company, and
as a one-stop provider of water transfer,
water storage and water treatment services.
"We see excellent synergies with nominal customer overlap between our and

SwiftWater's operations in the Permian
Basin. Both companies continue to see
strong demand for water management solutions, creating excellent opportunities
for cross-selling products and services,"

Oklahoma STACK Survey Is Complete, CGG Says
HOUSTON-CGG has completed acquisition of its Yukon 3-D multiclient
survey in Canadian County, Ok. The
company says the 219 square mile fullazimuth dataset is designed to image
the STACK play of the Anadarko Basin
west of Oklahoma City.
According to CGG, imaging efforts
will focus on gaining a better understanding of the facies distribution of the
Meramec, Osage and Woodford play

intervals. A final preliminary prestack
time-mitigated product, incorporating
orthorhombic anisostropy, with 5-D regularization and interpolation of azimuths
and offsets, will be delivered in the
second quarter of 2018. The company
says this will pave the way for a full
reservoir optimization package.
"Our Yukon survey marks another
stage in our regional expansion in the
Anadarko Basin," says Luc Schlumberger,
executive vice president, multiclient and
new ventures for CGG. "This is an area
where we are seeing strong industry
support for improved imaging, and we
believe our state-of-the-art processing
and full reservoir optimization package
will give greater insight into the numerous targets of the Devonian to Pennsylvania age."

Terminal In Louisiana
HOUSTON-Shale Support Holdings
LLC, which provides fracture sand and
logistical solutions to the oil and gas
proppant market, announces its newest
terminal has opened in Gibsland, La. The
company says the facility has a 100-car
capacity, as well as easy access to major
highways, on-site space to store containerized sand boxes, and room to add
future storage capabilities.

customers' distribution and storage needs,"

Stallion Oilﬁeld Acquires
Al's Water Service Assets
HOUSTON-Stallion Oilfield Services
has acquired substantially all of the assets
of Al's Water Service, a provider of potable
water transportation and services to the
oil and gas industry. Stallion says acquiring
the Washington, Pa.-based company will
allow it to continue to serve customers in
Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.
"Our acquisition of Al's Water Service
complements our overall remote accommodations offerings so that we now can
provide near end-to-end services to our
customers. This investment represents an
important strategic opportunity to offer
a potable water solution to the hardworking men and women of the oil, gas
and mining industries in the area, and
