Black Mountain Buys Land
For Eagle Ford Sand Mine
FORT WORTH-Black Mountain Sand,
a fracture sand provider, announces it is
expanding into the Eagle Ford Shale by
acquiring 2,300 acres in Atascosa County,
Tx.
The company says the mine it is building there is expected to deliver its first
commercial ton by the end of the year.
Once it is fully commissioned, Black
Mountain continues, the mine will employ
75 people and produce 2.2 million tons
of sand a year.
"We are excited to bring our proven
in-basin product and operating model
into the Eagle Ford Shale. Producers
there are eager to gain cost savings and
reduce lead time with in-basin fracture
sand delivery," says Rhett Bennett, the
company's founder and chief executive
officer. He points out that the mine's capacity has been sold under long-term
contracts.
Black Mountain operates two mines
in the Permian Basin. It says the facilities
quickly are approaching their nameplate
capacity of 10 million tons a year. To
help meet growing demand for its Winkler
White®, Black Mountain reports it is evaluating whether to add a fifth dryer at the
two locations to increase their combined
production to 12 million tons a year.

Roxar gauge technology to the U.S. Gulf
of Mexico. The companies say the partnership's offering will combine Emerson's

Cardinal Doubles Acreage Committed To Iron Horse
DALLAS-Cardinal Midstream III LLC
announces that Camino Natural Resources
LLC has dedicated more than 100,000
acres to Cardinal's Iron Horse System, a
new natural gas gathering and processing
system designed to serve producers working in Oklahoma's SCOOP, STACK and
Merge plays.
The dedication doubles the geographic
reach of the Iron Horse System, according
to Cardinal. Combined with the previous
dedication from Travis Peak Resources
LLC, it brings total dedicated acreage to
150,000 acres across Canadian, Grady,

provider of engineered hydrodynamic
fluid film bearings and brush seals for
high-performing turbomachinery. Under

it produces robust active magnetic bearing
