Target Lodging To Run Permian Basin Housing
THE WOODLANDS, TX.-Target
Lodging reports it has entered into a
lease and services agreement with Arrow
Bidco LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary
of funds managed by TDR Capital, to
operate and manage the business and
assets of RL Signor Holdings LLC (Signor
Lodging) on Arrow's behalf. Arrow acquired Signor Lodging on Sept. 7.
With the agreement, Target Lodging
says its Permian Basin network includes
Texas lodges in Mentone, Barnhart, Odessa,
Kermit, Midland, Orla, Kenedy and Pecos,
along with New Mexico lodges in Carlsbad
and Jal. These lodges house 15 commu-

nities and 8,500 beds, Target tallies. The
company says the agreement also covers
an Anadarko Basin lodge in El Reno, Ok.
"This agreement increases Target Lodging's position in the prolific Permian Basin,
and expands our presence in the Anadarko
Basin. Signor's nine lodges in these basins
perfectly complement our existing footprint
and broaden our offerings to these attractive
markets, enabling us to deliver more flexibility to current and future customers,"
says Target Lodging President and Chief
Executive Officer Brad Archer.

Equinor, TechnipFMC Ally To Reduce Offshore Costs
HOUSTON-TechnipFMC has signed
a strategic agreement with Equinor through
which the two companies will collaborate
on Equinor's offshore projects worldwide.
The agreement covers the full scope
of TechnipFMC products and services,
from early phase, through project execution, including installation and subsea
operations services, the companies describe. They say it reflects their ambition
to engage early through pre-FEED and
concept development in order to obtain
sustainable cost reductions.

LAGCOE To Hold Expo
At New Orleans Center
LAFAYETTE, LA.-To enable growth
and increase industry participation, LAGCOE says it will hold its 2019 exposition
and conference at the Ernest N. Morial
Convention Center in New Orleans.

Halliburton's iCruise™ RSS Combines Speed, Accuracy
Pioneer Secures Sand
From West Texas Mine
DALLAS-Pioneer Natural Resources
Co. will purchase an interest in U.S.
Silica Holdings Inc.'s sand reserves at its
Lamesa, Tx., mine through a long-term
sand supply agreement. The companies
say this agreement secures a long-term
supply of sand from the mine, with U.S.
Silica processing and supplying sand to
Pioneer for 15 years.
Timothy L. Dove, Pioneer's president
and chief executive officer, points out
that the mine is close to Pioneer's Midland
Basin acreage. "Delivered sand from the
mine will cost half that of our current delivered sand, reducing well costs into
2019 and beyond," he says. "U.S. Silica
has been a trusted partner for many years,
and this contract solidifies its position as
one of our key suppliers of proppant."

DALLAS-Halliburton Company has
introduced the iCruise™ intelligent rotary
steerable system, which it describes as
a breakthrough technology that delivers
faster drilling, accurate steering and
longer laterals.
According to the company, the automated RSS steers accurately through
high-angle wellbores in one run and
achieves target depth on time and on
budget. The RSS has the highest mechanical specifications available, with
400 rpm and 18 degrees/100 feet dogleg

capabilities, Halliburton says, adding
that the system's modular design allows
it to be configured to drill long laterals
or to increase accuracy in formations
where well trajectories change rapidly.

steerable system that incorporates advanced sensors and electronics, sophisticated algorithms and high-speed processors to help operators place wells more
accurately, reduce well time and maximize
