Reveal Introduces Portal For Analyzing Frac Data
DENVER-Reveal Energy Services
has commercialized the DSCVRi cloudbased completion evaluation engine,
which it says allows operators to consolidate their hydraulic fracturing results in
a Web portal to quickly identify stimulation design patterns.
"In this age of fiscal discipline, we are

DSCVRi engine, operators can determine
the hydraulic fracturing strategy with the

The secure Web portal hosts data from
the region, well and stage levels. It puts
this data-including information from Reveal's IMAGE Frac™ pressure-based
fracture map and FracEYE frac hit analysis service-in a central location with consistent formats and reports, Reveal
describes. Coupled with interactive, standardized dashboards, the company says,
the portal lets operators test ideas and arrive at statistically valid conclusions
through a continual improvement and
learning process.

Basic Helps Permian Client On Record-Setting Lateral
FORT WORTH-One of Basic Energy
Services Inc.'s high-spec, 24-hour rig and
equipment packages has completed a
record-setting Wolfcamp A well for
Surge Energy US Holdings Company,
Basic reports.
Rig No. 1826 successfully drilled
fracture plugs over a total horizontal displacement of 17,935 feet, Basic details.
At 3.4 miles long, the company says the
lateral is the longest known lateral completed in the Permian Basin.
Rig No. 1826, a 600-horsepower Taylor well servicing unit, coupled with
Basic's twin 2,250 horsepower pumps
and high-performance ancillary equipment, completed the drill-out for the
Medusa Unit C 28-09 3AH safely and efficiently in six days, Basic relates.

HOUSTON-Q2 Technologies has released the Pro3® hydrogen sulfide scavenger for crude oil applications, which it
says eliminates the risk of fouling associated with triazine-based scavengers

CRC Chooses Liberty Lift
To Maintain Beam Pumps
HOUSTON-Liberty Lift Solutions
LLC announces it has been awarded a
multiyear contract to provide field services, including maintenance and inspection, for beam and long-stroke pumping
units operated by California Resources
Corporation.
Liberty Lift's Bakersfield service center will support artificial lift in CRC's
light oil and thermal fields in central and
northern California, Liberty details, including more than 3,000 wells in the Elk
Hills field.

Weir Debuts Pump Built For Electric Frac Fleets
FORT WORTH-Weir Oil & Gas
now offers the SPM® Quintuplex Extended Max (QEM) 5000 E-Frac Pump,
which it says is the first fracturing pump
designed from the ground up to run on
electric or gas turbines.
The company adds that the pump is
the first to have a 5,000 horsepower capacity in a single unit that is rated for
service at 100 percent of rod load, 24
hours a day, even in extreme conditions.
The design builds on Weir's QEM 3000
platform, which has nearly one billion
field cycles with zero nonproductive
time reported, Weir mentions.
The QEM 5000 E-Frac Pump's compatibility with nonstandard drivers, in-

cluding electric and natural gas turbines, gives operators the flexibility to
tap into the electrical grid, remote
power generation or a natural gas turbine generator to reduce diesel fuel
spending and emissions, as well as
overall assets on location and maintenance, Weir says.
According to the company, the pump
minimizes upfront capital investment,
as it can shrink a frac fleet from 20 conventional pumps and 100 bores for each
site to eight pumps and 40 bores. This
reduces maintenance, noise, safety hazards and emissions, Weir says.
