ReStream To Help Aethon
Optimize Fracturing Jobs
AUSTIN, TX.-ReStream Solutions
LLC reports it is deploying its real-time
frac monitoring platform to Aethon Energy's completions in the Haynesville Shale.
According to ReStream, it began work
with Aethon in 2019 using its FracStream
system to monitor fluid chemistry, rheology,
and operational parameters in real time
during Haynesville completions. By analyzing these datasets, a focused strategy
for real-time cost savings and frac efficiency
was tailored to Aethon-specific key performance indicators. ReStream says this
new strategy will be used moving forward
on Aethon's hydraulic fracturing jobs to
give engineers, consultants and managers
the tools required to maximize frac efficacy
and minimize fluids-related costs.

SPE, SEG Merge Meetings To Encourage Networking
RICHARDSON, TX.-The Society of
Petroleum Engineers and the Society of
Exploration Geophysicists announce they
are collocating their annual meetings this
year. Both events are scheduled to be
held Oct. 12-14 at the George R. Brown
Convention Center in Houston.
For the first time, attendees will have
open access to both technical programs,
a combined exhibit floor and joint networking events. SEG and SPE say this
will promote knowledge sharing and provide greater opportunities to expand business relationships.
SPE's Annual Technical Conference
and Exhibition was originally scheduled
to be held at the Colorado Convention
Center in Denver, which SPE notes has
become unavailable.

Rawson Now Offers Valve That Minimizes Emissions
HOUSTON-Rawson/Industrial Controls announces its appointment as the

Fairfield, DUG Collaborate
To Sharpen Seismic Data
HOUSTON-Fairfield Geotechnologies
