AUSTIN, TX.-SparkCognition and
Siemens are collaborating on a cybersecurity system-DeepArmor Industrial, fortified by Siemens-they say is designed
to protect endpoint or remote operational

The AI-driven system will deliver

Danos executive Reed Peré, a 15year industry veteran, has been named
vice president of Permian operations.
Peré joined Danos in 2006, received
the company's Staff Employee of the
Year award in 2012 and became a member
of the executive team in 2015. He served
as vice president of production services
from 2015 to 2018 and has been vice
president of business development since
2018, an area he will continue to lead.❒
The GPA Midstream Association and
GPSA, an affiliated midstream suppliers'
association, announce their 2020-2021
officers.
Bill Ward, senior vice president of
commercial activity for Superior Pipeline
Co., will lead GPA Midstream as chairman of the board. John Poarch, president
of ARM Energy Midstream/Salt Creek
Midstream, will serve as chairman-elect.

The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program has named John
Schlichter its executive director.
Schlichter comes to OOGEEP with
40 years of management and organizational experience, including time as
deputy director for the Ohio Department
of Agriculture and as part of Schlichter
Farms and Bluegrass Farms of Ohio Inc.
In addition, he served as a member of
the Ohio House of Representatives for
six years and as a Fayette County, Oh.,
commissioner for four years.

TengBeng Koid is joining Flotek
Industries Inc. as president, global
business. In this role, he will oversee
domestic and international business
development for Flotek's two divisions:
Energy Chemistry Technologies and
Analysis & Data.
Koid has 30 years of oil and gas experience. Most recently, he served as
president of energy solutions at Emerson
Automation Solutions. He assumed that
role in 2015 after Emerson acquired Energy Solutions International, a midstream
software company he served as chief
executive officer. Koid also has held executive roles at Seismic Micro Technology
Inc., IHS and ION Geophysical Corp.,
as well as management roles at Landmark
Graphics and Halliburton.
