Solaris Water Midstream Opens Recycling Facility
HOUSTON-Solaris Water Midstream
LLC announces it has commenced operations at its newest large-scale water reuse
complex in New Mexico: the Eddy State
Complex, which can supply 300,000 barrels
a day of recycled produced water to operators in the northern Delaware Basin.
The Eddy State Complex joins ongoing
recycling operations at Solar Water's Lobo
reuse complex in Eddy County, N.M.,
and the Bronco reuse complex in Lea
County, N.M., Solaris notes. The company
says it plans to complete two additional
water recycling centers by December

To Advance Plant Safety
HOUSTON-Dover Precision Components reports it has deployed robotic tuggers to improve product flow and advance
Lean manufacturing at its Inpro/SealÂ®
manufacturing facility in Rock Island, Il.
Inpro/Seal manufactures bearing protection and shaft sealing solutions for rotating equipment. The tuggers will move
raw materials, in-progress parts and completed products around the Rock Island
facility to eliminate safety risks associated
with manual material handling, Dover
says, adding that this improvement will
help shorten lead times.

CGG Reprocesses Seismic
To Illuminate Walker Ridge
PARIS-CGG announces it has begun
a seismic data reimaging program covering
300 Outer Continental Shelf blocks in the
Walker Ridge area of the Gulf of Mexico.
Given recent discoveries and proven
production in Walker Ridge, the new program has received strong industry prefunding
from clients actively exploring and drilling
within this basin, CGG reports. The company's Walker Ridge wide-azimuth and
StagSeis DEUX surveys will provide input
for the project, with two priority discovery
areas being processed on an accelerated
schedule. Final products for these areas
are expected in February and May 2021,
with full program results scheduled to be
out by the end of 2021, CGG says.
The target is the prolific Wilcox formation, which the company mentions is
deformed by thrusts and folds beneath
multiple thick salt sheets and shales that
historically have been difficult to image.
To better define this complex area, CGG
says it will reprocess existing data with
3-D deghosting, 3-D SRME and its advanced new velocity modelling technologies. According to the company, preliminary test results show significant uplift
in imaging of the subsalt fold belts and
continuity of reflectors within the Eocene
and Paleocene exploration targets.

Straddle Addresses Issue For Offshore Independent
ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND-To troubleshoot an inoperable safety valve in a
Gulf of Mexico well, an independent
operator turned to Coretrax's ReLineWL
straddle, Coretrax reports.
The company describes the straddle
as a one-trip, rigless solution for common
well integrity issues. The tool is deployed
by wireline from light intervention vessels. According to Coretrax, it delivers
700% greater flow area than traditional
straddles, allowing operators to install
patches without creating a restriction.
