Reveal Licenses Method For Evaluating Fractures
HOUSTON-Reveal Energy Services
announces it has entered a technology licensing
and development agreement to
commercialize ConocoPhillips' patented
poroelastic response measurement (PRM)
technology. Through the agreement, the
companies will perform joint research and
development in the PRM technology space.
Reveal says it will integrate the novel
technology for mapping hydraulic fractures
and real-time fracture monitoring
into its IMAGE Frac®
service. IMAGE
Frac, developed under an exclusive license
from Equinor since 2016, provides
simple, accurate, affordable fracture
maps based on pressure measurements in
offset wells, Reveal describes. The company
says the service has quantified fractures
in 30,000 stages in the United States
and Canada.

position in hydraulic fracturing diagnostics

Energy Week (AEW) 2021, which is

Launches Program To Sharpen Gulf Seismic
HOUSTON-TGS announces Sophies
Resolve Refocus 3D, a narrow-azimuth imaging
program in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
The program includes 6,175 square
kilometers (3,837 square miles) of reprocessed
3-D seismic data over the mature,
hydrocarbon-producing areas of
South Timbalier, Grand Isle and Ewing
Bank, TGS describes. By applying adr
vanced
imaging techniques utilizing its
proprietary Dynamic Matching FWI imaging
technology in this highly successful
region, TGS says it will further
illuminate the key subsurface structures
and provide new insight into the prospectivity
within the deeper subsalt section.
TGS projects that final data will be
