IWS Opens Houston Office To Support Completions
HOUSTON-Intelligent Wellhead Systems
Inc. (IWS), which supplies digital
technologies for improving completions,
announces it has opened a 15,000 square
foot facility in Houston to support its operations
in U.S. unconventional plays.

and performance center in Houston; sales

ExxonMobil Trial Portable PVT Testing Lab
CALGARY-Interface Fluidics announces
it has formed a joint industry
project with Equinor and ExxonMobil to
accelerate deployment of the world's first
compact, rapid fluid screening equipment
for oil and gas. Essentially a portable
laboratory, this technology will revolutionize
pressure-volume-temperature
(PVT) testing, Interface Fluidics claims.
This joint venture follows a successful
demonstration and pilot of a miniature
slim tube system Interface Fluidics developed
in partnership with Equinor, Interface
relates. The company says the project aims
to expand its PVT technology's capabilities
to include other standard oil and gas characterization
tools, such as constant composition
expansion, gas/oil ratio, LVR,
live oil viscosity and density, and swelling.

Interface says its existing work has
demonstrated significant advantages over
traditional testing options. The company
cites its approach to testing minimum
miscibility pressures, which cuts costs in
half, requires 99% smaller samples, delivers
results 95% faster and removes the
need for interpolation.

process pipe and completes the management of goods in our northeast circuit, " says
